– UK consumer rights group launched a near £3-billion legal claim against Apple on Nov 14, saying the US tech giant locked millions of customers into its cloud storage service. Apple breached UK competition law by giving its iCloud storage service "preferential treatment" and therefore "trapping" customers with Apple devices into using it to store photos, videos and other data. Around 40 million Apple customers in the UK who have used iCloud over the past nine years could be entitled to a payout if the claim is successful, the consumer rights group said.
– U.S. institutional investors' 13F reports are rolling in, showing that Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has reduced its stake in Apple to 30 million shares, valued at $69.9 billion; meanwhile, Bridgewater and BlackRock have increased their holdings in Apple.
– In Q3, Apple $Apple (AAPL.US)$ ranked second in China's tablet market with a 26.2% share, marking a 7.4% decrease in market share.

– BHP responsed to media reports that a lower Federal Court in Brazil ruled that, along with Vale and other entities, BHP Brasil was not liable for criminal offences relating to the failure of the tailings dam.
– BHP unveiled plans to significantly raise investments in their Chilean operations, with a focus on the world’s largest copper mine, Escondida. The move, which entails the company spending at least $7 billion, is aimed at increasing metal recovery to maintain its leading copper production levels.

@Liam Mitchell: Can always predict , but we don't always get it right.The Trump factor may well be different this time.2016 his focus was tax and deficit spending, which was good for US markets .Take from the poor and give to the rich.This time it is tariffs , which regardless of its effect on markets in the US , unlikely to be great for the OZ economy.BHP is a buy , if it doesn't go down.BHP has often been a good little earner , and it will certainly outlive us all , but plenty of extended periods when it has been a dog.If you have been lazy , like me . and held for a few decades , at present , you are doing ok .But , ask the question at a few other times , maybe not.
@gbsurfer: I got $40.065 today. Either way it's good buying imo.Market will realise world's not going to end with a few tariffs. Dividend pretty healthy here imo, I'm frontrunning the risk of rate cuts next year. There's going to be a rush for yield if we get a rate cutting cycle. Financials look stretched imo, but commods and consumer staples (WOW/COL) is where I'm looking for this play.

@pootpoot: $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ probably a couple of scenarios possible for today. 1) small pullback but closing at the borderline of pennant (140.8+/-)2) continue to drop towards 135-136.3) reversal closing have to be 144.8 or above. breaking hourly/4hour descending channel. probably a corrective move for a longer run ahead. i think that the dips are buyable. indexes are fine, VIX is low. i would add more if it hits 135-136.market open if it cant break or hold 140, get your puts!!

It will help detect diseases earlier, personalize treatments, speed up drug development, and handle admin tasks to cut costs and boost efficiency. With these improvements, healthcare could likely see major benefits from AI
TheReal财神爷 : healthcare no doubt. Baby Boomers are the richest group of people in history. And their priorities will be longevity, and their Gen Z kids. You can bet that AI will be used to extend or at least improve their quality of life.

151737576 : Definitely healthcare. Already starting to see it being used in some places to record patient consults so the doctor has more time to investigate and ask the patient questions. In the future, I would expect AI to be smart enough to provide potential diagnoses, treatment options and even provide real time advice during surgeries.
