  • 102362254 : Despite recession concerns in 2024, the global economy remains stable. J.P. Morgan Research warns of a small chance of a global recession, potentially affecting growth by mid-2025. Central banks maintain high interest rates to combat inflation. Both U.S. and global economies could slow by late 2024 due to reduced liquidity and political tensions, leading to market volatility. However, top gainers like Nvidia show strong performance, bolstering market confidence. Despite challenges, the economy shows resilience. Despite high interest rates and political tensions, certain regions become more appealing for investors. Monitoring trends and successful companies is important for capitalizing on opportunities and managing risks.

  • ZnWC : I don't think the economy is growing, not when China is still struggling to contain possible stagnation. Fed is still worried about inflation and delayed cutting interest rate. Currently artificial intelligence like AI chip is making a wow effect in the stock market. There is also a small spark in space industry chain like Intuitive Machine. If SpaceX were to be public listed, the share price may fly to the moon too.

My next bet is on the next generation artificial intelligence (Artificial Generic Intelligence or AGI), Supercomputers (Quantum Computer) and Cellular networks (6G Mobile network). Some applications:

    1) Google AI announced that they had achieved quantum supremacy with a 54-qubit machine, performing a computation that is impossible for any classical computer.

    2) 6G network, with speeds estimated at 100x faster than 5G, when fully implemented, will usher in things like holographic technology currently developing by Meta Platform.

    3) Tesla made Dojo supercomputer to train the machine learning models behind the EV maker’s self-driving systems. The computer takes in data captured by vehicles and processes it rapidly to improve the company’s algorithms.

The above investment is for those taking a long position and not suitable for swing traders and retail investors who don't have holding power or are afraid of volatility.

  • HuatLady : Recession is a bone of contention for most investors, so by considering about my fiancial plan from the start it helps to ensure a smooth ride throughout my investment journey. As a long-term investor it helps that I buy solid stocks and hold them for long till the market is more favourable. [undefined] [undefined]

Regarding the top gainers like $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$, their success has a ripple effect on the stock market. The ascend  of these Magnificent 7 and AI focussed stocks contribute to the overall market growth [undefined] [undefined] [undefined].

  • HuatEver : While it is natural to fear recession I am not unduly worried. [undefined] [undefined] My confidence stems from my strategy of capitalising on AI stocks, which I view as a lucrative opportunity amidst economic fluctuations. Rather than succumbing to fear, I embrace the potential for financial gains during market rallies[undefined] [undefined]. The unpredictability of the future underscores the importance of seizing present opportunities, particularly in profiting from TOP performing stocks. Nobody can predict the future, I am happy to ride the waves now. [undefined] [undefined]

  • mr_cashcow : It definitely feels like the economy is growing at least with all eyes in ai and it's applications[undefined] Seeing $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ growth definitely dispelled the premonition of a recession as it have proven to bring forward innovative progress in several industry and it's ability to disrupt and improve how things are being done with much more efficiency[undefined]

  • 小trader : I view the economy as more resilient than actively growing at the moment. While economic data indicates strength, overall growth appears constrained. Currently, much attention is focused on the 'Magnificent 5' stocks, excluding Tesla and Apple. However, there seems to be a shift in fund flows towards small to mid-cap companies. Notably, ETF index IWM has shown significant growth in these companies since December 2023. Therefore, alongside monitoring top gainers, it's worth keeping an eye on quality small to mid-cap firms

  • 102765799 : the performance is encouraging report of what is to come for the industry and share market.. hoping for the best!
