The S&P 500 fell Friday to close out its third straight weekly loss on a down note. The benchmark index shed 0.2% for the day, and 2.9% for the week. The Nasdaq Composite also fell for a third consecutive week, with tech shares bearing the brunt of the recent selloff. This week’s stock-market downturn was prompted by a selloff in government bonds, as the prospect of a lengthy high interest-rate environment weighed on Wall Street. (As of September 22, 2023)

3. AMC - Buzzing Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ shares weekly % chg decreased by 1.04% to $7.62. As of September 21, 2023, AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. is facing a slight setback in its stock price, experiencing a 5.2% decrease and currently trading at $7.74. This decline can be attributed to concerns regarding future rate hikes and lower-than-expected initial jobless claims data, which are having a broader impact on the market as a whole. Similar to other companies in the entertainment and cinema industry, AMC is grappling with substantial operating costs associated with the maintenance and operation of its theaters. These costs include rent, utilities, and labor expenses. Consequently, any apprehension surrounding future rate hikes can result in higher borrowing costs for AMC, potentially affecting its profitability and overall financial well-being. @intuitive Jackal_354: We broke 7.90 our next support level is 7.80 if we can't maintain that it's a long way down from there.
4. NIO - Buzzing Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
$NIO Inc (NIO.US)$ shares weekly % chg rose by 0.95% to $8.53. While Chinese tech companies have long harbored ambitions of moving into the electric car industry, EV upstart Nio Inc. has gone the other way, releasing its first mobile phone Thursday. The unprofitable automaker is targeting its loyal customer base with the phone, which will sync with Nio cars to act as a key fob, display information such as battery charge and control functions like self-parking and the in-cabin infotainment system. The Android-based handset will be priced starting at 6,499 yuan ($890) — the same as Huawei Technologies Co.’s latest flagship Mate 60 Pro — Nio said as it unveiled the phone at its “Innovation Tech Day” in Shanghai. (As of Sep 22, 2023)
@Buy-a-great-company: NIO stock price forecast before Christmas.

Dan Ives from Wedbush Securities observed strong demand for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, noting especially enthusiastic consumers in China, Europe, and the U.S. Ives also mentioned his optimism about the product’s sales, hinting at possible shipments of up to 90 million units due to remarkable carrier promotions. CCG stock is therefore some 70% up on the pre-Spac combination price, also down 92% from its most absurd during the deal price. Which is the correct long term price, well, as we can see, that’s something still to be decided. We would very strongly suggest that the $200 peak isn’t it but other than that we’re happy to let other people work out what it should be. (As of Sep 22, 2023)
@Follow my prediction: Solid strategies and consistent results, simple as follow my predictions.
8. NVDA - Buzzing Stars: ⭐⭐⭐
$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ shares weekly % chg rose by 1.45% to $416.1. For those currently holding Nvidia, especially those who bought NVDA stock near its highs (just over $500 per share), it may seem like the beginning of the end for this AI chip stock’s hot run. The generative artificial intelligence mega-trend resulted in shares more than tripling in price between January and August. In recent weeks, however, bullishness for this “Magnificent Seven” component has cooled down in a big way. Chalk this up to reasons that are company-specific, as well as those more macro-related in nature. If you currently own NVDA, it may not be time to take profits and/or cut your losses. (As of Sep 22, 2023)
@71484344: Truely no strength, gona soon drop to 300 levels.

This type of transaction is conducted privately, away from public markets, with the intention of minimizing its impact on the price of the security involved. Typically, hedge funds, institutional investors, and accredited investors with substantial wealth engage in block trades through intermediaries such as investment banks. (As of Sep 22, 2023)
@Biff: Hold those shares. It's just the people that don't like holding over weekends leaving.

$Maplebear (CART.US)$ shares weekly % chg decreased by 2.12% to $30. Order your groceries from Instacart's app, and one of those workers roams the aisles at the local Kroger for your items, waits in line to pay, and delivers to your door. Instacart went public this week, putting a spotlight on the company and the contractors it calls "shoppers." (As of Sep 22, 2023)
@Winner takes all: Instacart the shortest mania I have ever seen, less than a session. pathetic company.

MuscMoo : once you guys take away the free level 2 data, there's no reason to use this website.... it's clear you guys employ shills to get people trading etc. I don't understand why anybody in the United States would use this as their brokerage over 100 other more reputable brokers out there
ruby run MuscMoo : Somebody get this dude a drug test, plz!!!
Biff : I really have no idea. Barely any of them ever stay higher than they open and take awhile to recover. Better to wait for the dip and buy at a discount!
MuscMoo ruby run : weed is legal where I am. Thank God I don't live in Singapore or somewhere
Uncle Leon sg : I for one is so thankful for this app where the team kept adding features and deliver relevant news and adjust how to better layout the function for better usage. I can feel their sincerity thnaks Moomoo
102362254 : Recent IPOs frequently face challenges once the initial hype subsides, with many experiencing no or negative growth since their debut. IPOs may hold appeal for some investors, but I do not find them attractive.
Meme_Short_Queen : IPOs can be double edged sword - low entry point if good company; nightmare peak if bad. spectators wonderland
Sunny_Bee : Interested investors expect the market price to be above the IPO price. The number of times an IPO is oversubscribed gives an indication of the level of attractiveness of the IPO and influences the market price when it is launched in the market.
ZnWC : An initial public offering (IPO) refers to the process of offering shares of a private corporation to the public in a new stock issuance. Companies must meet requirements by exchanges and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to hold an IPO.
Here are 2 reasons why IPOs are attractive to investors:
1) Investors could get in early on high-growth companies.
IPOs represent the first time the general public can invest in innovative, high-growth companies.
2) Investing early could yield long-term rewards.
Investing at the offering price or at the IPO can potentially grant investors the opportunity to reap massive returns on their investment.
Here are 2 risks when investing in IPOs:
1) IPOs are risky. Because IPOs are the first time the general public can invest in a company, the price may be pushed upward. IPO prices pushed up by the public are likely overpriced and will probably fall to a price at or even below the IPO price.
2) IPOs are highly volatile.
IPO lock-up periods, financials, and more can affect a company’s post-IPO price. Lock-up periods inevitably cause a drop in share price after they end. Since IPOs are newer, untested companies, their prices will fluctuate often.
Because IPOs can be risky and volatile after going public, investors should perform due diligence on the company thoroughly before investing. This means investors should research the industry and the competitors, and thoroughly understand the company’s product or service. You can read more about IPO investment in the links below.
