Welcome the arrival of August, also a month of gathering momentum.

On the 10th anniversary of my investment, initially I stumbled upon the Investalk website while surfing the internet, which opened the long road of my investment journey.

From fixed deposits, funds to stocks, Investalk has been a place where I gained a lot. At that time, I was young and inexperienced, checking the stock market and learning about technical indicators every day. At that time, I truly believed in getting rich overnight; in the middle of 2014, I used all my stocks as collateral for financing and then suffered a huge loss.

Afterwards, a series of scandals and accidents in Malaysia began to ferment, and Malaysian stocks began their irreparable journey; because I insisted on believing that my vision was correct, I continued to add positions, which also caused economic problems, unemployment, and other issues leading to further economic decline.

Fortunately, with the remaining optimism and unwillingness to accept fate, I seized an opportunity in 2022 and, combined with the continuous addition of positions in the past, briefly achieved financial freedom.

On this day 10 years ago, due to my frivolous purchase at the peak and a margin call, it decided the years of decline that followed. Today is also the same day, but perhaps it will be different.

Regardless of good or bad, I am prepared.
