Duskerdawn : If you are looking at Singapore stocks, you can consider the 3 local banks.
But due to recent good results their valuation is quite rich.
Do note that local bank's profits is closely tied to the interest rates. Higher or increasing rates is good for local bank, lower or decreasing rates is bad for local banks.
