What Happened to the Stock Market ?

Yesterday Malaysia Men’s Double won a Bronze Medel and people once said “开门红“or  “Make a good start” for the Malaysia team, Congrats!

However, for the current stock market in the U.S. market or KLCI, it might be a correction for the previously “too hot” market. According to technical analysis, the Dow Jones Index (DJI) is still at a higher level as compared to the previous and it’s still in an increasing trend. Considering factors like the situation in the Middle East, the coming U.S. elections, the decision of the Bank of Japan about the interest rate, etc., it might cause further fluctuations in the stock market, bond yield, and emerging markets. As for KLCI as the main index for Malaysia's stock market, today’s market has sharply reduced the increment from the beginning of the first half of 2024, dropping to an approximate 5% loss.
