What to Expect in the Stock Market If Harris Wins the Presidency
Bonds Rallying:
A Harris victory may lead to fewer inflation surprises, allowing the Fed to lower interest rates further. This would support bond prices, and investors are likely to hold onto their bond positions more than they would under a Trump presidency.
Gains in Renewables and Housing:
Harris has a strong pro-renewables stance, which could benefit the green energy sector. Additionally, her focus on increasing housing supply and providing subsidies for first-time homebuyers may boost the housing market.
Rise in Rate-Sensitive Stocks:
Falling interest rates could benefit industries like banking and real estate. Rate-sensitive sectors, including materials, industrials, and utilities, might also see gains.
Relief for China-Tied Industries:
A shift away from Trump’s aggressive tariffs on China could lead to a relief rally for Chinese stocks and U.S. companies closely tied to China, as Harris’s policies are likely to be more targeted.
Overall Market Growth:
Historically, the stock market tends to rise regardless of the president. While short-term volatility around elections is common, long-term trends show steady growth. Investors may want to adjust allocations slightly but should generally continue a consistent investment strategy, as advocated by Warren Buffett.

WorldShowMe : That means stocks move up including DJT
Simon 5183 : Really talking nonsense, Harris's victory may lead to less inflation? She was already the Vice President of the Biden administration three and a half years ago. Hasn't she caused inflation to rise enough in the past 3 years? If it weren't for the high inflation rates, could they be even higher? It's impossible to control and improve in the next term? Clearly talking nonsense with eyes wide open!
perfectly broke : if she win we can all kiss's our asses good bye it's going too fuk up everything no matter were you live

DazzlerAus Simon 5183 : Growing inflation has hit everybqesyern economy b the world post covid, it is not a one country that Biden did it didn't cause and its clearly getting under comtrol now on the other hand widespread new tarrifs in everything Chinese ill absolutely hit inflation hard
Harold of the Rocks DazzlerAus : You’re wrong. Government everywhere is out of control. All politicians are narcissists.
Simon 5183 DazzlerAus : The main reason for the global inflation is the United States raising interest rates, as speculative capital crazily concentrates in the USA, turning the dollar into a strong currency, causing currencies in various countries to weaken and resulting in inflation in those countries. Why does the United States raise interest rates? It's to reduce inflation. Why is the inflation rate so high? It's because the Biden administration's reckless printing of money, leading to a huge increase in national debt. The market is flooded with dollars and unable to funnel out the bad positions. For example, I can use a credit card to borrow from banks at 0% interest, then deposit it into moomoo to earn interest at 5.2%. Half of my personal stock market investments are funded through this method! In reality, the US economy is not doing well, with companies laying off employees in large numbers, revenue shrinking, and being reluctant to borrow from banks to expand. Banks are unable to lend out money, so they resort to lending bad positions to customers at 0% interest, only collecting handling fees.
Justin Teeburd Simon 5183 : Thanks man, this is what I tell people when they complain about the economy. It’s a multi decade issue we have finally come to head
