What Japanese stock will Buffett buy next? Fund managers and analysts make predictions!
When Bloomberg interviewed fund managers and analysts regarded as buffett watchers about Japanese stocks that famous American investor Warren Buffett, who bought more shares of Japan's five major trading companies this year, insurance stocks such as Tokio Marine Holdings, major bank stocks, Shin-Etsu Chemical, Fujifilm Holdings, etc. were mentioned.
In Buffett's stock selection, it is known that maintaining a cheap and high return on equity (ROE) and long-term and stable performance growth are important criteria. Excluding Shin-Etsu Chemical Industries, the stocks listed this time seem to have slightly inferior ROE compared to the stocks of the five major trading companies. However, the dividend yield is comparable, and the stock price-net asset ratio (PBR) is also low, so it can be said that there is a sense of undervaluation. In particular, major non-life insurance stocks have also recently declined due to reports of advance adjustments to corporate insurance premiums.
According to the Bloomberg article on the 11th, portfolio manager Takeda Masakazu, who manages the Hennessy Japan Fund on a scale of 294 million dollars (about 43.7 billion yen) at Sparks Asia Investment Advisors Limited in Hong Kong, chose Tokio Marine Holdings, Sompo Holdings, and MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings as strong candidates for Japanese stocks that Mr. Buffett invests in I'm bald. Reasons include low PBR, relatively high returns, and strong performance.
Also, strategists and analysts at Mizuho Securities and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities pointed out that if a rise in interest rates in Japan becomes certain, major bank stocks will also be investment candidates. Representative Director Bito Mineo of “Bitou Financial Services,” who has attended Berkshire's general shareholders' meeting since 2014, predicted that companies showing stable growth, such as Shin-Etsu Chemical, Bridgestone, and Fujifilm Holdings, would also be subject to ownership considerations.

181338057犬心久美子 : It's helpful as an article, but for me personally
There are no Buffett followers who say that Mr. Buffett bought this and that he bought it because he bought it
Buying without independence makes you tilt your neck. There are a lot of differences, so I'm thankful to be able to use it as a reference.
