WHY?
$Pineapple Energy (PEGY.US)$ I'm new at this, so I don't have a clue what I'm doing. Is it normal for me to have lost $350.00 after the reverse split?

If-he-in-im-in : yes reverse split is never a good thing it's hurt really bad, most of people sell before the reverse.

If-he-in-im-in Candy077 OP : the big problem with reverse is you loose a lot of share and your average raise. to make the same profit the price need to up X the same amount of the ratio of the reverse... if the ratio is 1:15 the price after the reverse need to up X15 to get the same profit.
The Real Wojak : Yes reverse splits are very very bad you never want to hold a stock that’s going to reverse split always get out before that happens.
The Real Wojak : It’s similar to when when Apple, Tesla or Amazon do a regular stock split to reduce their share price artificially in an attempt to incentivize more people to buy at the new price since it appears to be more affordable. But with a reverse split it’s the opposite, the new elevated share price after the split only incentives short sellers to sell more
The Real Wojak : Which inevitably leads to lower prices. Only reason these even pump is usually from short sellers covering
