WHY?

If-he-in-im-in : yes reverse split is never a good thing it's hurt really bad, most of people sell before the reverse.

If-he-in-im-in Candy077 OP : the big problem with reverse is you loose a lot of share and your average raise. to make the same profit the price need to up X the same amount of the ratio of the reverse... if the ratio is 1:15 the price after the reverse need to up X15 to get the same profit.

But with a reverse split it’s the opposite, the new elevated share price after the split only incentives short sellers to sell more
