Big tech earnings disappoint, US stocks dips: Who's the next hope?

Why AI ain't a bubble

Looking back to the 2000s there was a hype  for stocks and we all know what happened.
Some good companies like $Cisco(CSCO.US)$ took decades until they made it back, after some great years for the company. Others made it too and some just disappeared.
Let's have a short look at 2000, internet was unknown to many people, companies did not broadly adopt new technologies, like networks, some may still know the "sneaker network technology".
Investors hyped stocks that thought to make business with Webdesign, which was back then almost a science on its own.
Now, more than two decades later, we face a very different environment.
Nothing works without the internet, every 5 year old can design websites, even webshops and all that stuff, which in 2000 was thought to bring all that revenue.
This is due to more industrialized coding procedures in software development, design patterns, singleton, facades, classes, open libraries and so on.
Adoption of new technologies happens way faster. These days everything is data driven. Even at home my batteries store more electricity from the solar cells, if the next day is supposed to be cloudy. Based on my household usage data.
This said, having all those companies involved, those where many say it's a bubble, they do already have their products in the companies. The foot in the door. The adoption rate will be enormous.
Me personally, I drive well buying the stocks of which my company is using products of.
Wish you all awesome bubbles baths.

  • 10baggerbamm : it's not a bubble because these companies are printing billions of dollars in sales and making hundreds of millions and billions of dollars in profits in 1999 virtually no one had profits and most companies were trading at four to five years forward projected revenue guidance that's why these fucking people on TV suck because they never tell you the truth

If I would write that here, I could as well write a book. So let's put it that way, I am boring and please don't bother
