Why Stock Market selling today?

There's still important economic data being released tonight, also at 8:30 PM, mainly to confirm whether the economy is indeed entering a recession.

The Malaysian stock market isn't performing well, and it’s highly likely that it's waiting for how the U.S. stock market will react to this data, or perhaps the Malaysian market already anticipates that tonight's outcome may not look good. 🙈
