Wifes portfolio is $VANGUARD S&P 500 INDEX ETF TR UNIT (VFV.CA)$ , $Valdor Technology International Inc (VTI.CA)$ , $ISHARES S&P/TSX 60 INDEX ETF UNIT (XIU.CA)$ and $VANGUARD FTSE CANADA INDEX ETF TRUST UNIT (VCE.CA)$ . It was handily beating my dividend stocks...at least until I realised that her total included our sons' RESP.
We put the same into each of our accounts per pay, but pay separately into the RESP.
Now they have similar returns.
