Will the US stocks continue to drop in the short term?
Today after the market closed, most of the held positions fell quietly a lot, but it's not very alarming at the moment. $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ $Upstart (UPST.US)$ $Disney (DIS.US)$ These are the three stocks that I feel comfortable with recently. Currently, they are trading sideways, falling, then sideways again. Selling covered calls high and buying low has reduced costs significantly. This trend recently is very suitable for covered calls, with a win rate of over 95% for Disney in the past two days. I am also prepared to sell off Upstart. I don't expect Upstart and Disney to drop much in the short term, especially Upstart may even reach 35-36, so I haven't bought puts to hedge against downside risk. However, I did buy a 133 put option for Amazon, considering the current trend, there may be a possibility of exercising it. But I am likely to close positions early and free up cash.
Sold an expiring put option for next month on the 8th with a strike of 92. $iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT.US)$ The US government has been engaging in various controversial operations recently. This year, it seems that there are no plans for interest rate cuts, and there is concern about a possible debt default. However, since I have chosen to invest in US stocks, it is actually based on being bullish on the long-term prospects of the USA. If TLT really falls below 90, then I would consider holding the stock for the long term and systematically selling weekly straddles to earn interest.
However, I am considering buying Black Swan for hedging. India across the ocean is currently experiencing many things. There is systemic debt default, investment explosions, even though the correlation with the US stocks is not deep, the internal issues in India are significant, such as caste, employment, real estate, medical, taking over Sri Lanka, diverting internal conflicts, which may already be on the agenda. From a macro perspective, this is not India's worst year in a century, or even the worst in the last twenty years, but the potential risks still need to be guarded against.

peace24z : Disney is actually still comfortable. It's been two years since you fell to death, and there hasn't been much movement. It's the only ticket I regret
TridentRodent OP peace24z : Mainly, this stock doesn't fluctuate much, and option fees are good. You can still earn back the principal if you insist on leasing. This is based on long-term optimism. If you're not optimistic, stop loss as soon as possible
