Winning Strategy Being Demonstrated

While Warren Buffett deals in megatons and I only deal in ounces, there is still a lot to take away from his actions at the macro level. He is taking a defensive posture to protect from loss, while simultaneously preparing to launch a counterattack. When the market falls, he will be ready to sieze the opportunity and buy high value companies at a steep discount.

We are not heavyweights like Buffett, but that actually works to our advantage. We can follow his lead for now, and later, use our nimble size to maneuver quickly when the time is right. His size is so large that his actions are limited by the market's ability to support them.
