Wishlist for 2024

I wish that the market in general will start to recover and inflation going down. So that things won't keep getting more and more expensive at alarming rates and my investment portfolio can hopefully be profitable after staying in the red for years.

Workwise, I hope for a salary increment (which I probably won't get as I just joined the company recently) and bonuses. Smooth sailing and no unresolved problems at work.

Familywise, the most important is good health for my loved ones. Having recently recovered from covid and still suffering from the secondary infection with 3 kids (2 of them still toddlers) affected as well. This kind of experience where the whole household got sick, prolonged sickness in fact, is really not something we would want to relive anytime soon. Makes me realise the importance of having good health and not taking it for granted.
