Growing up, I used to hold the perception that stock market and investment is for the rich and I need to pay high brokerage fees and commission fees to remisier before I can trade.
With the collapse of Barings Banks, CLOB saga and multiple stories of people losing their life savings overnight from market crash etched into memory, I subconsciously avoid stocks like a plague.
That almost every drama centred on stocks somehow end up with characters jumping off buildings, “I also can” conclude buying shares is a bad thing and that’s why nobody teach investment in schools.
