Xiaomi MX11 SUV may unveil in Oct at Xiaomi tech event

Chinese media report that the Xiaomi SUV will be unveiled at the end of Oct. It's reported that Xiaomi will hold a blockbuster press conference at the end of October to unveil a string of new electronics products. These will include the Xiaomi 15 series, Xiaomi 7 series tablet, and a new Xiaomi bracelet, along with the latest operating system version. At the end of the conference it's expected there will be a "one more thing" and that slot is believed to belong to the Xiaomi SUV.
Although we may well get our first glance of the Xiaomi SUV, which is believed to be code named MX11, without camouflage at the event, the launch and delivery of the car will not be until 2025.
There is currently little concrete information about the MX11, and all that we know is that it is believed to be an all-electric car, and from the spy shot so far seen, we know that it is a low-lying SUV with a sporty style. The Xiaomi MX11 has proportions similar to the Ferrari Purosangue and may, like the Xiaomi SU7, have a heavily inspired design. Lei Jun, Xiaomi's CEO, has said that he aimed to produce a dream car for the masses with the SU7, and so far, it looks as if he may be trying to repeat the same trick with the new SUV.
Oscar Wilde said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness." And it would seem that some Chinese low-speed EV (LSEV) manufacturers have got in on Xiaomi's own act. It is already possible to purchase a Xiaomi SUV-inspired LSEV. Although these vehicles are allowed on city roads, there are limitations as to the speed they can do, and their usage is largely restricted to old people. For some reason, Shandong seems to be where the vast majority of such vehicles are produced.
None of the LSEVs will have anywhere near the capability that is expected from the real deal. The test cars so far spied have Lidar fitted and is also likely to use 800V architecture. If the MX11 really is unveiled at the event in Oct, we may learn some more details about the car as well
It's reported that Xiaomi's third car will be an extended-range SUV, priced around 150,000 yuan (20,950 USD). The model will be launched in 2026 and aimed largely at families.
