1) Teslarati reported that Xpeng Motors CEO He Xiaopeng has shared his observations and feedback after personally experiencing Tesla’s Full Self Driving (Supervised) system. The executive seemed to have come out of his experience behind the wheel of FSD (Supervised) with a bullish stance on autonomous driving, as he stated in a post on Weibo that he believes fully autonomous driving could see a “ChatGPT moment” next year.

2) Ray commented in X.com that during his test drive of FSD V12.3.6 when heading towards Google Headquarters, XPeng ceo can’t help praising how precise and smooth the system is. He even goes so far as to say FSD drives better than someone new to California like himself most of the time. FSD beats him on smooth drive and handling. Throughout the entire video, clearly there’s no hide of excitement from someone who will compete with Tesla in China pretty soon.

My Take: Previously I shared 2 others test driving Tesla FSD V12 and praised the technology - Xiaomi Vice Chairman Li Bin and former UK PM Boris Johnson. But Xpeng CEO is the first who shared his review candidly about Tesla FSD in a video. Personally I think rolling out the Tesla FSD V12 in China successfully is the key to commercial Tesla Robotaxi which Elon Musk said will unveil on 8 August.
