Xpeng delivered arecord numberof electric vehicles (EVs) in Sep, with theM03, the first model in the Mona lineup, providing asignificant contribution.
The EV maker delivered21,352vehicles in Sep, up 39.46% year-on-year and up 52.12% from Aug, according to data it released today.
The MonaM03deliveredmore than 10,000units in its first full delivery month, the company said, without disclosing a specific figure.
In thethird quarter, Xpeng delivered46,533vehicles,exceedingthe upper end of itsguidance rangeof 41,000 to 45,000 units. That was up 16.31% year-on-year and up 54.05% from the second quarter.
So far this year, Xpeng has delivered 98,561 vehicles, up 21.02% year-on-year.
The company'scumulative deliveriessince inception stood at498,872vehicles, approaching the 500,000-unit milestone, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The company delivered the Mona M03 to its first owners on the first day of the Chengdu auto show on Aug 30, when it said it received more than 30,000 firm orders for the model in the first 48 hours of its launch.
With a wide range ofsuperior features and competitive pricing, Xpeng Mona M03 has seen asignificantincrease in orders since its launch, it said today.
Xpeng and its supply chain partners are working hard to prepare the Mona M03 for further production ramp-up, it said.
Looking ahead, Xpeng expects to launch theP7+, positioned asAI-defined car, in Oct and will showcase its leading AI technologies and applications as well as its new model line-up at the 2024 Paris auto show from Oct 14 to 21, it said.
