Xpeng doing away with LiDAR
$XPeng (XPEV.US)$ based on the announcement at Beijing autoshow, He Xiaopeng has annnounced the new AI integrated XOS5.1.0 to be OTA on May 20. It was also announced that the SR can cover 1.8 times the soccer fied size using pure vision and algorithms, meaning will do away with LiDAR for future models. this advancement can reduce cost further while improving the ADAS accuracy.
