Xpeng today introduced theG9 SUV and P7 sedan in Germany, bringing the two battery electric vehicle (BEV) models to a wider European audience.
The G9 is available in Germany in three options: rear-wheel drive standard range, rear-wheel drive long range, and four-wheel drive long range, with starting prices of 57,600 euros (USD62,300), 61,600 euros, and 69,600 euros, respectively.
The Xpeng G9 was initially launched in China on Sep 21, 2022. On Sep 19, 2023, Xpeng launched the new G9 with a starting price of RMB 263,900 (USD36,510).
The P7 is also offered in Germany with three options, a rear-wheel drive long range version, a four-wheel drive performance version, and a four-wheel drive Wing Edition, with starting prices of 49,600 euros, 58,600 euros, and 69,600 euros, respectively.
The P7 series, Xpeng's flagship sedan, includes the P7 and P7i in China, with starting prices of RMB 239,900 and RMB 223,900, respectively.
Xpeng launched the G9 and P7 in Europe in Feb 2023, but at that time they were only available to customers in Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands and Sweden.
Official sales of the two models in Germany will begin inMay, and Xpeng will work with 12 local dealers across 24 retail locations in the country.
The company aims to increase the number of dealers to 60 and expand to 120 retail locations by the end of 2026.
Xpeng also plans to enter other European markets includingFrance, Italy and the UK.
