Shootingstar : price of btc affects all. it's lowered for Microsoft to decide whether or not to buy Bitcoin for their company's portfolio. news will be 10th of December. nfa just guessing. when microsoft decides to buy btc the price will go up to 110k at least. if not it will ding dong for good news.
104803845 OP Shootingstar : Hmm but why would they lowered bitcoin, a decentalized coin, to let Microsoft to buy at lower? if anything it should be higher. People will push higher so Microsoft need to buy higher from them.
I agree on the BTC drop lead alt to drop. Political unrest can lead to drop in btc too. When wars are ongoing, you prefer to hold gold, an actual physical thing or Bitcoin which cannot be access once no longer have internet. Thus the gold increase today.

Shootingstar 104803845 OP : depends on the board of directors and the pressure selling by miners and retail to take profit. lower entry point will soften the resistance of the board or directors. if btc already 120k the chance of them buying is 50%. if 150k maybe 25% 200k zero. hope they decide to buy so their company can be less stressed on yoy growth. think this is the biggest factor then always ongoing war in middle east but see the price drop how low also. nfa just my view

104803845 OP Shootingstar : I agree on the gold part, in fact I shorted it around 2650 with multiple positions. I come across this and thinking maybe they use this info to grab shorts liquidity to 2660, which is the ma60 on daily timeframe.
Then again, if this news is old, perhaps not and they just do it for no reason.
