Yester-years seahum kway tiao & today's ones for comparisons
One fren told me yesterday, last time a plate of seahum kway tiao cost only $2 to 3, full of flavorful egg bits sticking onto each wok-hei strand of noodles & the seahum were decently large & well-serving. Nowadays, it costs upwards of $4 to eat the same but much less flavorful plate, but instead of bits of eggs sticking onto the noodles, you'll be lucky enough to even find a tiny flea-sized seahum sticking instead, & the hawkers could even have the audacity to ask for an extra 70c to $1 just to add in one egg...
