You'd be crazy to think that China doesn't care who wins today's US elections. They watch it very closely and likely even adjust their stimulus based on who ends up victorious.

But China has dealt with a Trump administration before. And it knows a Harris win will be just another 4 years of Biden. So, it's got a good idea of what it can expect going forward.

If you're an investor in China, this should reassure you. The worst thing for a market is uncertainty. And there's almost no uncertainty when it comes to how the US approaches China in the coming 4 years. There's just choice A or choice B.

At the same time, Beijing is about to unleash a stimulus that could be unlike any we've seen in the past 16 years.

We have a budding recovery in the real estate market that, unless Beijing completely drops the ball (not impossible) will put China's economy on firm footing once more.

Chinese manufacturing is doing better but not out of the woods. Chinese services are expanding at a good rate. Retail sales are also firming up if early figures from SinglesDay are any indication.
