YTL Power Teams Up for 5G Alliance
Digital National Bhd (DNB) announced on 28 Jun’24 that YTL Power (YTLPOWR), via YTL Communications have completed its share subscription agreement to acquire 16.3% in the 5G special purpose vehicle.
The agreement was completed concurrently alongside CelcomDigi through Infranation Sdn Bhd, Maxis Broadband and U Mobile Sdn Bhd which now collectively owns 65.2% in DNB.
YTLPOWR mentioned the investment in DNB signifies the group's commitment to play a leading role in driving Malaysia's digital agenda and supporting the government's vision for a 5G Dual Wholesale Network (DWN) environment.
