$YTLPOWR (6742.MY)$ last week one day drop more than 10%, was probably due to ppl expecting a bad result, panic selling. But then the result came out good, causing the price surged. but this surge only last for less than a few days.

Mbagger or none OP : Panic selling in the first place, understandbly. But 2nd decline, is slow and steady
Red Guppy : So YTLP fundamental changed? That's why the price also cannot sustain upwards?
George Soros II : People want to take profit only
Trader or Investor : why Ringgit suddenly so Strong..Good or bad to the market?
Mbagger or none OP Red Guppy : The fundamental also didnt change (much, maybe buy ranhill?) compared to a year ago ma but last Aug the price was RM1.50
Red Guppy Trader or Investor : Ringgit appreciated 7% from Jan 2024 high 3.55 to 3.30. You use your common sense will the revenue and profit from Spore will increase or decrease when 75% of YTLP revenue is from Spore.
Red Guppy Mbagger or none OP : Already mentioned in my earlier post, Ranhill profit is negligible when you compare with what is the current profit generated from Spore in hundreds of millions. Ranhill can only contribute revenue but not much on profit as the margin is not high. Water price is a very sensitive issue as it involves the people and you cannot increase the price without the state government approval. Spore renewable energy sources will be diversified from overseas countries as they already planned it earlier. Ranhill fair value drop from last Qtr will be reflected in the next QR too. Important is the UK business needs more Capex in the next 5 years if you notice the UK needs to upgrade the whole country's water infrastructure. Debt level will increase further?
Trader or Investor Red Guppy : but I'm referring to the overall market not a specific company.. !!
Mbagger or none OP Trader or Investor : Err.. good for importer, bad for exporter
