On December 2, Maersk announced the confirmation of orders for 20 self-owned ships, all equipped with LNG dual-fuel propulsion systems, ranging in size from 9,000 - 17,000 TEU.

Ordered 20 dual-fuel ships, with a total capacity of 300,000 TEU;

China yzj shipbldg sgd 2 9,000 TEU container ships;

12 15,000 TEU ships (6 in south korea HANHUA Maritime, and another 6 in china NEW ERA Shipbuilding);

6 17,000 TEU ships from yzj shipbldg sgd;

These ships will be equipped with LNG dual-fuel propulsion systems.
