I'm not really worried about the decline in semiconductor stocks from a long-term perspective. Regulations against China began in earnest with the previous Trump administration, and have continued for years, but demand has expanded more than headwinds, and it has greatly exceeded the S&P 500 even under the administration at that time.
Financial results announcements for major high-tech companies will begin with Alphabet next week, and capital investment amounts leading to semiconductor demand will be disclosed.
Demand for semiconductors, mainly for AI, is expected to continue to be strong. It is expected that buybacks will progress as the focus returns to strong performance while obtaining financial results announcements.
I bought NVIDIA shares in February this year. I endured 4 months of hell. I'll endure this month too! I'm also asking for TSMC's financial results announcement!
