Revenue for July-September is expected to exceed 725.5 million dollars, a 30% increase compared to the previous year.
Adjusted operating profit for October-December is expected to be around 300 million dollars - market estimates around 0.26 billion dollars.
Palantir Technologies Inc, a US software development company, exceeded market revenue estimates in the 3rd quarter (July-September), driven by high demand for artificial intelligence (AI) software. The company has raised its operating profit forecast for the 4th quarter (October-December).
According to Palantir's announcement on the 4th day, revenue in July-September increased by 30% compared to the previous year to $725.5 million (about 110 billion yen). The average analyst estimate compiled by Bloomberg was $737 million. Net profit reached a record high of $144 million. Adjusted earnings per share were 10 cents, surpassing the analyst estimate of 9 cents.
Adjusted operating profit for October-December is expected to be around $300 million. The average market estimate is $261.6 million.
In a letter to shareholders, CEO Alex Karp mentioned the support Palantir received from government and private sector entities in the USA.
