Don't believe it? Go look at the chart of the past 10 or 20 years of dbs yourself.
As for choosing a company, my style is either not buying at all, or buying the industry leader. dbs is not only the leader in the Singapore banking industry, but also the leader of the entire listed companies in Singapore.
