Most analysts follow the herd. I have been hearing off Apple's downfall for several years now while the stock is beating my target of 15% plus annual stock gain.
I heard the same of $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ , which was quietly building during the Ballmer years while Ballmer was being trashed. And then all products in the pipeline got unleased, which was building over the Ballmer days.
Apple is a good company with great products. It will give a 20% return annually for the next 10 years, which makes it a solid buy.
