Not long ago, SGX has been described as boring and poor returns as compared Dow Jones and S&P. However, sentiment has changed and becomes favourable as shown by recent statistics on growth and gain. If I invest in SGX stocks, I would limit myself to the blue chips, S Reits and certain growth stocks such as ifast, unless I know the other stock well fundamentally. For blue chips, the 3 banks occupy quite a substantial % in the index and it would be good that DBS, UOB and/or ...

I recently went to Singapore with my family to visit my long-lost cousin.
When my cousin arrived at the airport in a cool Tesla, she asked me, "This kid has been working for years. Why hasn't he found a partner to bring to Singapore?"
'Well, work is so busy that finance workers don't have time to fall in love. I have to watch the Hong...

Just don't understand general Investor moods on this primarily us banking sector issue and others linked to the US banks in other parts of the world.
Just don't understand why investors in general treat 'unlinked local' banks the same way.
Anyone care to comment and enlighten.me on this? Thanks in advance
