When choosing long-term investments, we would choose businesses with good fundamentals, development potential, star management teams, and monopolistic markets, as well as unique businesses. These types of companies allow us as investors to sleep soundly at night. As shareholders, we believe in the competence of these management teams. As shareholders, of course, we need to give them time to perform, develop, plan, and so on, so that they can help the company make money, and we will be responsible for investing and receiving dividends.

I think NIO $NIO Inc (NIO.US)$ is a good stock in the long term because it's a good company making money in a sector that will be integral in the coming years. It's just probably going to be volatile in the short term because of Chinese FUD, the market correcting and the hype surrounding what the "next Tesla" will be having shifted to Rivian and Lucid for a while.
