$XIAOMI-W(01810.HK)$ Honestly this is a very good report card. It was already market knowledge that xiaomi recorded YoY drop in smartphone shipments for Q3 before the results announcement, so YoY revenue growth of 8% is respectable. Highlights of the report include continued growth of internet services revenue and GPM. This is expected to continue to grow going forward as Xiaomi continue to monetize its huge MAUs. And adjusted net profit managed to grow 25% despite increased investment in EV. Xiaomi’s future is definitely bright.

$Alibaba(BABA.US)$ Revenue is still growing at double digit. Not a bad result given the regulatory environment. Profitability decreases but at least Baba is still making money. When other companies report growing revenue but widening LOSSES, their share prices shot through the roof. Something is not right here..
