Good morning, traders. Happy Tuesday, August 6th the market is trying to claw its way back after a starting red Monday. My name is Kevin Travers, $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ and its semifriends are climbing back again: hear are stories the herd is chasing on Wall St, here are moovin' stonks.
Shares of $Uber Technologies (UBER.US)$ were rising 5% after the ride-hailing company beat quarterly earnings estimates and delivered upbeat guidance posting earnings ...

I. What happened last week?
In recent days, global markets, led by the U.S. stock market, seem to be struggling.
Last Friday, the U.S. non-farm payroll data and unemployment rate came in worse than expected, sparking fears of an economic recession and widespread market panic.
U.S. technology stocks were especially hard hit. In the Mag7 group, only $Apple (AAPL.US)$ saw a slight increase, while the rest declined, with $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ falling s...

Hi, mooers! A rush of earnings sweeps through the market this week. Which company are you most optimistic about?
On Thursday, $Meta Platforms (META.US)$, $Apple (AAPL.US)$, and $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ are releasing their quarterly earnings after bell. How will the market react to these companies' results? Let's make a guess!

Market summary 17/8/2023
The markets faced a challenging day, with the Nasdaq dropping over 1%. High-risk stocks, like PLTR, faced steeper declines of 8.4%. Even previously steady stocks like ELF and CELH took hits, dropping by 9.7% and 5.5%, respectively.
While no specific trigger was evident, concerns grew in after-hours trading due to Evergrande, a major Chinese property developer, seeking bankruptcy protection. Given the potential domino effect of debt and banking i...

Do you not follow this stock? It did the exact same thing trying to get past $13. It would get close, trade at 12.98 and then the bottom would fall out.
This is just a simple example of a resistance band - at $19. If you really believe that PLTR isn’t about to blow the earnings off the board after all of the new deals they’ve signed, not mentioning the ones they’ve renewed- then sell! But people forget this stock was once at $48 a share 2 years ago and traded...

$First Republic Bank (FRC.US)$ FDIC is the lapdog of the big banks, colluding with them to swallow up small banks. The big banks use the media to spread panic, prompting depositors to make withdrawals in a run, and then buy some high-quality assets at low prices. This is not an acquisition, but a blatant robbery, and it happens every dozen years. 😄

I have fond memories when I first started analyzing $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ and buying into the company.
Back then, its 3 business segments - Productivity and Business Processes, Intelligent Cloud, and More Personal Computing were all 3 strong pillars, each contributing 33% of Microsoft's total revenue.
Fast forward to today, one of the pillars became the dominant revenue and growth driver.
Here are 2 major points I like most about Microsoft's stellar...

The largest acquisition ever in the gaming industry a complete failure?
Britain’s top competition regulator on Wednesday moved to block $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ ’s acquisition of video game publisher $Activision Blizzard (ATVI.US)$ .
The measure marks a major blow for the U.S. tech giant, as it seeks to convince authorities that the deal will benefit competition. Microsoft said it plans to appeal the decision.
