The increase before 6 months was due to NVDA
Most of the increase in July was due to TSLA

Bought some long term puts. current price is like $1200 a month ago. Even with strong earnings I personally think its hard to sustain at this level .Anyway I could be wrong.

So far the first week of May have been great! Market reacting positively to last Fridays US nonfarm pay roll and US unemployment rate. In the hope that Fed would soon cut rates which is typically good news for markets as a whole.
As investors and traders should we wait for the Fed to cut rates before investing? Or take advantage of the data now to pick up some great companies at a discount or execute some trade while we still have good volatility?
