One of the most important quotes from Warren Buffett on investing is "If you aren't willing to own a stock for ten years, don't even think about owning it for ten minutes". Buffett buys stocks because he wants to own those businesses for the long term and approaches most of his investments with the mindset of owning them forever. It does not take a Warren Buffett to build a stock portfolio of well managed businesses and hold on to them for years. ...

$Alibaba(BABA.US$ imbalance from 6th Dec filled after it hit 115 yesterday. Should have rebounded intraday after filling. To stay objective, you should cut loss today if it doesn't rebound up as the sell off was with bigger vol. But as it is near to bottom bband and we know it was also due to US sell off sentiment flowing over to China, I still see the NDX still has a imbalance to fill till 15760, I will hold till Wednesday and see if the China cutting interest rate will improve China sentiment today.
Baba is also now near the bottom of the bband squeeze. So a bounce up is likely from here. But if it doesn't, I will take a small loss here and wait for the next leg when it retest 108 or even 95.
As always, trade safe & invest wise!

I, the smallest, have big dreams!
I officially joined Moomoo in 2021
I couldn't understand it. I had no idea, and tried to make my first pot of money in the stock market. I stumbled and fell and climbed up along the way, tried and tried hard to learn new knowledge from it, and look forward to becoming a better version of myself!
👉 moomoo is a fantastic piece of software:
1. Through it, I learned a lot of new knowledge that is very useful for stock trading, thank you @moomoo Courses
2. We often host different events and contests to share different knowledge and keep us growing. I received many surprises by participating in the event, and I also had a chance to win rewards for improving myself, thank you @moomoo Event @moomoo Rewards @PaperTradingOfficial @Popular on moomoo @Meta Moo @Moomoo Breakfast @Moomoo Recap @Investing with moomoo @In One Chart @Movers and Shakers @moo_Live @The Boxing Ring
3. There are many great tools. Through continuous exploration and familiarization with the moomoo function, trading can be made very simple.

Amazing trading volume for super retail investors!
Currently, it holds more than 150 stocks and has traded more than 200 times (positions have been replenished many times in the middle). Since I didn't have much initial capital, I initially only chose to buy a number of low-priced stocks in small quantities. Inexperienced, I mistakenly thought that as long as I bought low-priced stocks (stocks that were close to a new low in a year) and wait for a rebound, I would definitely make a lot of money, but that's not true. Using the DCA strategy, the method of diversifying investments did not seem to be of any use (in fact, it was a methodological error 🙅♂️). Instead, funds were continuously locked up, and almost all of the stocks bought fell. It is estimated that it will continue to continue. Thankfully, a few transactions have left the market at a profit.
👉 What did I learn from trading
1. Wrong choice
Avoid trading Chinese securities. I have learned a painful lesson in investing in Chinese securities. In the trade war between China and the US, Chinese securities are quite vulnerable in the US stock market. Chinese online car-hailing giant Didi Chuxing “left the US and went to Hong Kong” stirred up the market, and a wave of Chinese securities delistings began under the regulatory struggle between China and the US. In the future, China Securities, which has large-scale livelihood data, is also at risk of being delisted; at the same time, Didi's delisting also convinced the market. China's industry regulation of technology stocks continues, and the return of Internet leaders listed in the US is the general trend. Chinese securities are facing increasing regulatory challenges from US and Chinese authorities. For most companies, it's like walking on eggshells, trying to please both parties. Delisting only makes things simpler. I will not consider trading estimated stocks in the future.

2. How to select individual stocks
Because I don't have much initial capital, I only choose low-priced stocks for most transactions, ignoring the fundamentals of stocks, such as market value, profit and loss, etc. In the future, I will pay more attention to other aspects when choosing stocks.
Here's a post I've posted before:

3. Trading Policy/Strategy
👍 In the future, I would prefer to focus on individual stocks and light index trading
Continuously experimenting and learning from it to find workable solutions to build my own trading portfolio, I'm considering learning from stock god Buffett. Based on my previous experience, I found that stocks that don't rise or even fall when the index rises, when the market falls and then rebounds, not only do they not rebound, but they fall even more. Conversely, stocks that run higher than the market when the index rises will perform relatively well against decline when the market pulls back. When choosing individual stocks with strong fundamentals in the face of severe shocks in the stock market, it falls less often, and when it rises, it can recover quickly.

3. More diversified portfolios
In the future, consider buying ETFs and learning investment concepts from some investment institutions. Here's my previous post:https://www.moomoo.com/hans/community/feed/107426476982278?lang_code=0
4. Do a stock review
To be honest, when it comes to retrading, it means reviewing the market. As far as this habit is concerned, it is not limited to experts, but as long as you really want to invest well, you have to reconsider more. The biggest benefit of the resumption of trading is that it allows us to continuously increase our experience, so that we can make better decisions and operations in a stock market where conditions are constantly occurring.
5. Only invest the risks you can take, and I only invest within the range that I personally can accept.
When investing, you must be mentally prepared to plan for the best and the worst. Of course, you are happy to make money, but when you lose, you have to bear tremendous internal pressure, which is not a good thing.
Control and understand how much risk you can take. If your investment unexpectedly loses, you won't change much. Of course, it's best to make money.
👉 Future prospects
I'm slowly closing my profitable positions and doing my homework in buying the next stock. There's so much to learn, learn from mistakes, and keep trying, hoping to end losses and start making profits next year. I don't expect to suddenly become rich; I just want stability and victory.
I'm also planning to buy some investment projects from stock god Buffett: $Berkshire Hathaway-A(BRK.A.US$ $Berkshire Hathaway-B(BRK.B.US$ $Berkshire Hathaway 13F(LIST2999.US$ $Apple(AAPL.US$ $Bank of America(BAC.US$ $American Express(AXP.US$ $Coca-Cola(KO.US$ $The Kraft Heinz(KHC.US$ $Royalty Pharma(RPRX.US$ $Floor & Decor(FND.US$ $Chevron(CVX.US$ $General Motors(GM.US$ $Teva Pharmaceutical Industries(TEVA.US$
