For me, i will set the stop loss point for the hopeless stocks only. For example, the company’s management becomes incapable or the company becomes insolvent. I will set the stop loss point if the stock price reduces by 50% or more.
I will also set the profit target if stock price increases by 100% or more. At the profit target, I will sell half of the stocks to take back my capital and maintain the remaining half of the stocks as long as the company and management are capable.
