3月22日，阿里巴巴宣布继续扩大回购，将股份回购计划的规模由150亿美元扩大至250亿美元，回购将持续至2024年3月底。此举亦创下中概股回购规模纪录。根据此前公布的股份回购计划，截至2022年3月18日，阿里巴巴集团共回购5620万份美国存托股（相当于约4.496亿股普通股），总额约92亿美元。此外，根据官方公告，阿里巴巴集团董事会同时宣布委任太盟投资集团（PAG）执行董事长单伟建为董事会独立董事，将于2022年3月31日起生效，并将成为审计委员会成员。
