If buying and holding helps with hurting those HFs and in the process we might strike gold then sure, sign me up.

munkified OP 小小小意思 : I think what he meant was, there are apparently 2 ways he could buy from Schwab (and other brokerage(s) which the comment section mentioned too). One is through the “auto” mode which has to go through the HFs and DPs and stuff and the other which is the “direct route” which is what he did, which I guess it means direct to the market itself. I am still new to this so I am not 100% sure but from the comments that’s what I understood.
