As always, my advice is to set aside funds for emergency. My funds were saved in FD accounts even though the interest rates in Singapore is very low, but it's easy to withdraw in case of emergency. The funds should be equivalent to a minimum of 8 months of your total expenses is advisable.

I recently changes my Washer's mode to "Economy" mode instead of "Extra Clean", and the laundry time was reduced to 49 mins instead of 80 mins. Recycled water from the washing machine was also kept in pails for toilets washing, and sometimes used for washing/flushing away the bird shits outside the corridors. I have also stopped using the Dryer and hang the laundry outdoors to dry. Both water and electricity consumption are reduced.
It is no doubt that climate change is defined as a long-term threat to mankind globally; i supposed this may be an opportunity to invest in a low-carbon economy where financials and big companies are also adjusting their investment portfolios to include decarbonisation.
