裕廊阿韭 OP Jasmine06 : i cannot say for sure. I actually sold all the position on IB (about 30% to the position here on moomoo) last Thurs, 1 day after the AI demo on Wed.  Fact says i sold too early. But... taking profit is never wrong.
For the position i have left here, i have a trail limit order. But keep incr the trail % as the price goes higher. Or when i see another good company gets undervalued. Will do the switch then

裕廊阿韭 : Look at why this last happened. In 2020, due to the pandemic small cap dropped a lot while Apple dropped less, being more defensive.
How it shortly ended was caused by the money printing fuelled speculation rallied small cap more than Apple.
Now being back to similar market cap just reveals that the speculation on the market is severely reduced again due to the expensive capital and bad economy.
Anyway, ai don't currently hold any Apple stock any more, sold them at $155 for 35% profit, thinking it was overvalued, just as small cap now too. IWM has come up a lot in the last two weeks.

裕廊阿韭 : Still believe Apple is on the uptrend in the long run, just waiting for another local low to go in again.

裕廊阿韭 WizIT : That protection is when your broker goes bankrupt, who is the custodian of various stocks you own. It does not protect you on the investment decisions, so if you invest in a company that become worthless, it does not kick in.

裕廊阿韭 OP : Entered the bottom position again around 24.1-24.5

裕廊阿韭 : The payout is in the quarter. The layoff employees already lost access to office and systems upon notice. The notice period is paid off per the package. So the payment is happening within the month.
