Little Groot : Everyday got people ask the same question but never wanted to do some research by themselves, only know kaopeh in comments for wat sia..
1. Why people focusing on AMC?
The borrowed shorts and naked shorts which also the manipulation of the stock market by hedge funds.
2. Why people are holding and not selling?
Go google what is shorts selling. Borrowed shares need to return otherwise they have to keep pay a high interest for that. By holding and not selling, shorts seller cannot buy back the shares from the market and he will need to buy from the people who own the shares, so as ling as we keep holding, the price will go higher and higher. It cost nothing for us to hold but it costs billions for HF for not returning the shares.
3. When we need to sell?
The game starts with the shorts selling, it eventually will end with shorts fully returned. No one will know how high the price will reach until all the shorts being returned. 1k? 10k? 100k? Who knows, every numbers are possible, it will shoot up one day when the HF have no choice but to buy the shares back and return.
Those saying hold until 100k or 500k i dont think they know whats the game they are playing. Only dreaming on the figures and trying to give advice like a pro.
This might be a long war as shorts amount are huge, If you think this is wasting your time to hold, you can just sell and play other stocks. No one has the rights to tell you how to manage your money, no one is financial advisor here. Hold it if you trust the process, quit if you dont. As simple as that.
