I am raised in a family of trading/financial related individuals. Brokers, Bankers, HFs manager you name it. i never followed in any of their footsteps, one reason is cause the stories i heard from dad who is a broker about how people ended their life over a bad trade. I told myself that i never wanted to be at the receiving end if my client does any of that.
Though, the moolahs earned did enticed me but still, i did not take the plunge. Instead, i went on a journey of entrepreneurship and found my calling. However, i am a risk taker and i love thrills. There were so many platforms that was available before but non seems to have the voice that enticed me to try this out.
it was earlier this year, while transferring from circle line at buona did i stumbled upon MooMoo’s ad. Got me curious, cenrtainly the advertising and colours atrracted me towards it. i was still a bit hesistant, but decide that with the pandemic looming, what else can you do to earn some gains. Went onboard and call it a lucky phase, i made quite a good profit and got addicted after. i tried another similar platform which is in yellow, however, the UI is not friendly unlike moomoo. Since then, i never looked back, trading has become my weekday activities and yes who doesnt want financial freedom, but to me, its more of the thrill and the monthly activities moomoo has to offer.

I supposed why some, borrow money to invest, is due to FOMO. Like for myself, i will never invest unless i have extras and the money is willing to be parted with. I mean you can borrow, its your responsibilty end day, however, if things goes south, how are you going to pay back whoever you have borrowed? most, will just place their bet on hope, hoping things will rocket up, but hope is a dangerous thing. There is no right or right to this, just what is right for you as an individua… like be a responsible investor ...
