For growth stocks that have been hit hard recently, the situation may not be as dire, according to Strategists at Goldman Sachs.
After the recent sell-off in growth stocks caused by the surge in Treasury yields, we now expect only modest further moves in long-term yields.
The bank's strategists wrote in a note to clients, meaning that further risk to growth valuations from the discount rate is limited.

I won’t exactly say luck in picking the right stock but luck in the timing when I first started investing.
To be precise, I started in end March 2020 and if you recalled everything just crashed. I picked a relative safe stock that paid dividends $Exxon Mobil (XOM.US)$ and doubled my money in a year. I won’t say its the best pick as tech stocks tripled or even quadruple.
End of day, profit is profit and for my first time I am happy with it as compared to this year where my portfolio is going as flat as an airport. Only money I made is off premiums from selling puts and calls. Capital gains are barely existent.

Columns [Rewards Calling] I don't think many ppl are keen on sports, but there are so many fitness stocks!
I saw on moomoo that $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ is launching a service called Halo Fitness to rival offerings from $Peloton Interactive (PTON.US)$ and $Apple (AAPL.US)$.
Why is Amazon entering into the sector? Is it true that many people are really into sports? Will the business make good money?
I'm not sure but I can name a bunch of fitness-related stocks. For example, $Lululemon Athletica (LULU.US)$ , Peloton and traditional sports brands like $Nike (NKE.US)$ and $Under Armour-C (UA.US)$. Peloton stocks have dropped around 50% from their high, while Lululemon stocks seem to go higher and higher.
Why does these fitness-related companies perform differently? Have you bought any of them and did you make money?

In January when $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ was trading at around $800, Social Capital founder and CEO Chamath Palihapitiya said that $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ could double or even triple.
BUT!! He revealed yesterday that he has sold all his Tesla stocks during the past year. Although he said it again that he's still bullish on Tesla's future, I no longer believe him. If he really is positive about Tesla, why would he rush to cash out?
What about you? Do you think he's trying to fool us or do you think he's telling the truth? Why?

How's your portfolio doing? Mine is downSOS!!!
Tech stocks led the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$lower 2.83% yesterday with $Meta Platforms (FB.US)$, $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$and $Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$losing more than 3%. $Amazon (AMZN.US)$fell more than 2%. I guess the tech sector has to bleed as bond yields surge.
I saw oil&gas gaining. $Schlumberger (SLB.US)$gained 2.4% yesterday.
Do you think it's time to buy the dip in tech or buy oil&gas instead? Why?

The reason most people would say is always the same. Along the line of building a secondary source of wealth, passive income, beating inflation etc.
I focus on why I am doing it today is because trading had been made more accessible to us than years ago. No more high commission cost or having to buy in huge lots which would require you to have a large sum of money to begin with.
Today we have close to commission free trading and with technology, trading can be done easily over app.
No need to regret and FOMO why you did not start investing years ago. Be glad that you started today. 🤗
