20% of my monthly income is what I’ll feel comfortable spending on a car. It contains the car mortgage, petrol, road tax, erp, parking, etc. If only for operating expenses, 10% of my income would be acceptable.
What's more, share a advice I received before is that your car cost (COE + buying the car) should not exceed your annual income. Typically, car expenses in Singapore would be no less than 1.5k a month. To keep some buffer, ...

If we can afford a car by budgeting 20k a year, why not? I believe a car gives more value, intangibles such as convenience, privacy, comfort and most importantly time savings. I am looking for second hand japanese cars with around 12k-13k depreciation and might just hoot one before turning 40, striking one item off my bucket list.

The road to financial freedom is akin onboard a rollercoaster ride full of up and downs. Do not let out emotions rule over our mind. Stay calm, focused, hold tight and we will get there. Investing long-term is a slow and steady process of growing our wealth. There is no quick get rich scheme other than gambling. Thank you Moomoo for providing a robust and low-cost platform for traders and investors to vest in the stock markets. Cheers!

When to start investing? The standard answer you heard is probably NOW!
This is true to some extent, but if we dig a bit deeper, a better interpretation might be: the best time to start learning about investing is NOW, but the best time to invest is when an asset's market value is below intrinsic value.
Amid such a sharp pullback from last December, some investors have cashed in on their money, waiting for the"right" moment to enter trades again. F...
