Back in the end of 2021, when the world economy was recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic, Delta Airlines overestimated the growth of travel demand. They increased their airplanes' carrying capacity by a large amount, but the passenger demand remains weak. Delta Airlines reported losses for Q4 2021 and Q1 2022, resulting in significant stock price drop.

A long weekend for 3 days is not enough for me to travel.![]()
I will combine my annual leave during Chinese New Year for extended vacations. Just my plan to take leave on Jan 29-31 and enjoy a 9-day break. Just spend time with family but no travel this time.![]()
Also plan to take leave on April 15-17 and 21 to make Good Friday a 1-week holiday. As for the destination, might go to Japan during the Good Friday holiday, as that's the time for seeing sakura! A good spring f...

Nov'23 dividends: share price fell by 0.84 (2.5%) during the week following up to the ex-date. Continued to drop by 1.27 (3.9%) during the 2 weeks after the record date.
Aug'23 dividends: share price fell by 0.36 (1.1%) during the week following up to the ex-date and dropped a further 1.10 (3.3%) after.
This intrigues me. Seems like people generally go for dividends. But on...
