Long term investors should just buy and forget, come back in a year or two.
For day and swing traders, they need to identify the ideal entry price to maximise profits. That takes years of experience but even then, there's no guarantee of success.
Many people made losses (realised/unrealised) either because they enter at the wrong time or didn't take the profits at the right time and then it crashed..
Most important things are to manage risks and stay away from junk stocks as much as possible.
For AMD, it is relatively safe..just have to wait this downtrend out.
