Yogiyogi : On the point of staying invested, I have another view. It should not be the buy and hold tactic unless one has bought it at the rock bottom and getting periodic dividends. It is also to be diligent (do your study) enough to sell, pocket the profit and to look for dip and other counters for opportunity. It is OK to stay un-invested, on the sideline for months waiting for the right opportunity. It would have been a very sad game if after years, the capital is still the same as before if not less.
