I am still figuring out what is my plan in investing and trading after 117 days in Moomoo. However, the following are what I gather from my experiences:
1) Investment 投资 or Trading 投机
Decide whether you are investing or trading. Long term hold or Short term trade. If you are being bag-hold due to short term trade, do not "cheat" yourself by saying you are investing for long-term  $PayPal (PYPL.US)$

2) Have an exit plan if trading
Set stop loss or trailing stop loss if you are doing day or swing trading. Do not diamond hand. Know when to exit. $Lucid Group (LCID.US)$
3) Value or Growth or Meme stocks
If investing for long term, choose value stock for slow and steady upside or growth stock for fast upside with more risk. Meme stock is for trading. $iSpecimen (ISPC.US)$
4) Trading is not everything. Have a life.
You will encounter mood swings when the NAV swings up and down like rollercoaster. Just remember you are in here because the money you put in is spare cash that you are willing to lose. Be happy when you win. Learn from mistakes when you loss. Life goes on. Off the app if you need a break.
Lastly, while learn from the Moomoo community and the resources over the intranet, I still need to do my own DD and make the decision. Win or lose, I own it.
